The Lola T70 was an essential component in the early years of Penske Racing. Earning their first of many major wins in 1966, and acquiring a Sunoco sponsorship soon after. Mark Donohue and Penske Sunoco Lola T70 went on and captured the 1967 USRRC championship.

This picture was taken by Mike Odell thru a Chevy dealers window in Plymoth, Wis. near Elkart Lake to get a better view of Mark and George Follmer's Lola T70's for an upcoming race. It was the only way to get close up pictures of the cars back then. What a fantastic picture.
